Yes. The thing is when you're using bridging two APs (WDS), you are in 4 MACs mode, when all tools you can find are targeted to usual one AP infrastructure mode, thus 3 MACs mode.

Please advice if there are any tools out there which can be used to produce more IV packets for wep cracking.

You'll have to modify aireplay or any other injection tool a bit to add 4 MACs support. That's a pretty good idea BTW ;) A todo for wifitap anyway...
