Description

From sleek:

I've been puzzled about this for quite some time now. I can't determine where the bug is, either in airodump-ng or the mac80211 stack but the bug manifest itself when airodump is sniffing with mac80211 drivers.

All of my mac80211 cards detect several of the APs here with similar errors. Showing erroneous data, reporting information which makes no sense.

I caught the bug today while I was fiddling with BT4, by default the OS loads the mac80211-rtl8187 driver for alfa awus036h and airodump detected several of the above mentioned hidden ssids showing channels with the likes -155 or -133. When I switched to softmac-r8187, the APs in question were detected by airodump with their proper channel number.

Happens with ath5k too but much less often than with rtl8187.
